I have a job

It seems that upper management has known for several days that an agreement was reached to keep me and the other contractors on the job. They forgot to tell me. I boxed up my personal items and purged all evidence from my hard disk. I set my phone response to something inappropriate, and I set […]

Mom and Sarah

My Mom enjoys making rag dolls. She made a fancy one and she entered it into the DAR craft competition.

HostGator.com very slow again

Hostgator.com is the hosting company I use for JT30.com and Harpamps.com, and a dozen other sites. It is so slow today that I’ve started moving these domains to 1and1.com. I guess when I am done I’ll be able to get rid of the $100 a year expense for the backup host. I can go without […]

My Job Outlook

I have just been told that the contracting company that employs me screwed up their application and I might not have a job starting April 1st. I work as a consultant at the County of Westchester. Westchester, with about a million people, is the 43rd largest county in the US. I have been busy here […]

End of the world is nigh: 21 May, around 6pm

I am reading a book where the year 1666 was thought to be the year of the second coming. The numbers 666 were thought to be significant. What came instead was the bubonic plague and the burning of London. Nut jobs have been predicting the END every few years as long as there have been […]

Buy the Book!

I cleaned up my tab for Sonny Boy's Help Me and made it into a short book. There's a Kindle version for 99 cents, and if you buy the paperback you get the Kindle free.

I also write Science Fiction, so you can sample some of my best stories. Also available in Kindle format.

I started reading Science Fiction in the 1950s. I started Writing SF in the 1960s. Then, I had a life. Now I am retired, raising chickens and keeping bees. I am still an avid reader and I have sold about 70 stories in the last 20 years.
I have been collecting information about writing Science Fiction for many years now. Social media has replaced the Blog and large dedicated websites, so the pages here are mostly static. I update them from time to time.

Enjoy!
