Elephant’s Trunk Country Flea Market

The Elephant’s Trunk Country Flea Market (New Milford CT) officially opens April 2. The weather looks good so we will be there. It’s an hour’s ride from here, but well worth the trip. Erica and I are both addicted to flea markets. We don’t often buy anything, though. Once a summer, I will pull a real treasure out of the Elephant’s Trunk.

The Stormevill Airport Flea Market opens April 30 and only happens once a month.
Last year, neither of these places had a web site. Now they’ve finally entered the 21st century.

Update: We went up. I bought 4 vinyl records. I saw a Shure Sonodyne microphone (the one that Billy Holiday was singing into on the stamp) for $40, but that is more than I had.

Here is a wide angle that I made by stitching several pictures together.

Buy the Book!

I cleaned up my tab for Sonny Boy's Help Me and made it into a short book. There's a Kindle version for 99 cents, and if you buy the paperback you get the Kindle free.

I also write Science Fiction, so you can sample some of my best stories. Also available in Kindle format.

I started reading Science Fiction in the 1950s. I started Writing SF in the 1960s. Then, I had a life. Now I am retired, raising chickens and keeping bees. I am still an avid reader and I have sold about 70 stories in the last 20 years.
I have been collecting information about writing Science Fiction for many years now. Social media has replaced the Blog and large dedicated websites, so the pages here are mostly static. I update them from time to time.
